This silver and silk bracelet is one of our favorites! It is shown here using beige silk cord and Hill Tribe silver beads. This version is approximately 14 inches long and can be wrapped around the wrist twice. Feel free to make a 7 inch single strand piece or a triple strand using about 20-22 inches, depending on your wrist size.
This bracelet is beautiful in any color and wearing 2 bracelets together of different colors is very striking!
This piece consists of the following material:
- Hill Tribe toggle ~ HTG009
- Griffin Silk Cord(2) - Beige Size 6 ~ GS004
- Hill Tribe strand ~ HSTR028 ~ approximately 64-68 beads
Directions
- Thread 2 silk cords thru bar end of toggle. Center and attach using overhand knot or square knot.
- Make about 5 square knots.
- Start adding silver beads by stringing them onto 2 middle cords (these middle cords should have the needles on them), one at a time, with a square knot in between each bead.
- Continue to desired length, being sure to allow for equal amount of square knots on each end.
- Knot onto ring end of toggle and overlap 3-4 knots to secure.
- Dab a touch of glue on the last square knots.
- String small bead on each end piece, make overhand knot and then trim extra cord.
