Home > Featured Designs > Freshwater Pearls on Silk
This featured design is made with hand-dyed silk and freshwater pearls.  We wirewrapped about 20-24 pearls and knotted them onto the silk.  We finished it with a Hill Tribe silver toggle.  This piece can be worn as a bracelet, shown above, or as a long or short necklace.  Great to layer this with different colors of silk and other beads or stones! Here's what we used:
  • Hand-dyed silk ~ DS001 thru DS030
  • B011 ~ Champagne pearls
  • HTG040 ~ Hill Tribe silver toggle
  • SHP150 ~ 1 1/2" sterling silver headpins
Directions
  1. Wirewrap 20-24 pearls (or any beads of your choice).
  2. Tie the pearls onto the silk (we tied them about 1-1 1/2 inches apart).
  3. Tie toggle on to each end.
